AI opportunity assessment

Know where AI can make a difference.

Turn a recurring business problem into a clear decision about what to improve, what to build and what it will take.

Where to start

For when you see the opportunity but not the first step.

You see opportunities for AI, but need to choose a useful first step. Work depends on a few experienced people, information is scattered, or your team repeats preparation that limits capacity.

How it works

From scattered ideas to a clear decision.

01

Understand the work

Review one priority area with the people doing it. Gather representative examples, exceptions, tools and the result you want.

02

Check what is feasible

Compare your existing software, conventional automation and AI. Examine information quality, access, integrations and the decisions that need human judgment.

03

Define the first improvement

Recommend a bounded implementation with responsibilities, a budget and observable success measures. Identify unresolved dependencies before a build begins.

Illustrative example

What an assessment can uncover.

A team spends hours assembling proposal information. The assessment examines where the details live, which decisions require judgment and whether AI-assisted preparation could reduce the work without weakening review.

Past work

What a well-chosen target has returned.

Automated collections connecting QuickBooks, field-service data and cloud docs. Human review stayed on customer-facing notices.

~60%Lower average monthly delinquent receivables.

Scope and investment

Short, focused and agreed before it starts.

Typically 1–2 weeks for one agreed priority area. A fixed assessment fee is agreed before work begins. You provide an internal owner, representative work and access to the people who understand it.

A recommendation to use an existing feature, simplify the process or not build is a valid outcome. A Blueprint is a decision and implementation plan; it does not include a production system.

Do we always need an assessment first?

No. If the problem, information, ownership and scope are already clear, we can discuss a directly scoped build. We still check feasibility and agree how success will be judged.

Can we work together in person?

Yes. An assessment works best close to the people doing the work, so we can meet on-site in Greater Lansing and across Michigan, or work remotely. We settle the format together after your first conversation.

The next step

Know your first move before you invest in a build.

Move into AI Build when the opportunity is worth pursuing.
